Charmed 3.22 'All Hell Breaks Loose'

It's with very little surprise, and hesitation that I award ‘All Hell Breaks Loose’ the title of greatest episode. From the amazing performance from the cast (Shannen in particular), to the dramatic twists and turns, it was a fitting end to an almost perfect season, and it's a major turning point in the 'Charmed's history.

Charmed 3.21 'Look Who's Barking'

‘Look who’s Barking’ turns two different sisters into two very different creatures. With a great mid episode twist, this is actually quite a fantastic penultimate episode.

Charmed 3.20 'Exit Strategy'

This episode introduces one of the powers that will become far too overused in the later years: Piper’s 'Exploding' Power. It also marks a major change in Cole and Phoebe’s relationship.

Charmed 3.19 'The Demon Who Came In From The Cold'

Despite featuring an all too boring corporate plot, this episode is something that at this point was completely necessary: Testing Cole’s changed loyalties.

Charmed 3.18 'Sin Francisco'

This is the best example of how Charmed could really balance the humour of its situations (they are running around fighting demons after all) with the all too seriousness of its fatal consequences. ‘Sin Francisco’ is up there as one of the funniest in the series and one of the best episodes of the season.

Charmed 3.17 'Pre-Witched'

In a way, ‘Pre-Witched’ is probably the perfect Charmed episode. From the great flashbacks to the intelligent mirroring stories, it really is something special. It’s the perfect representation of Charmed’s signature line “Three sisters who happen to be witches, not three witches who happen to be sisters”

Charmed 3.16 'Death Takes A Halliwell'

For me, this is one episode of Charmed that proved just how dark and amazing that it could be, if given the chance. Prue comes across so powerfully here and once again, I really find myself feeling for her.

Charmed 3.15 'Just Harried'

Despite the fact that this episode features Piper and Leo’s wedding, it’s actually more of an insight into Prue. It explores the side to her that doesn’t get to come out enough, in the same vein as ‘Which Prue Is It Anyway’ and ‘Ms Hellfire’, and it’s just as clever.

Charmed 3.14 'The Good, The Bad, And The Cursed'

In the season’s second trip through time, Prue and Cole travel back to the Wild West. It had a lot of fun with the time period, but what I loved most was the amazing dynamic that is Prue and Cole.

Charmed 3.13 'Bride and Gloom'

What makes this episode so fantastic is that it turns all three sisters to the dark side in the same episode, something that previously had only happened to one at a time.

Charmed 3.12 'Wrestling With Demons'

‘Wrestling With Demons’ breaks the impressively long stretch of brilliant episodes with one that tries too hard to follow a popular trend and tears a more interesting plot down.

Charmed 3.11 'Blinded By The Whitelighter'

‘Blinded By The Whitelighter’ is a great example of a demon of the week plot done right. There’s a lot at stake, it’s exciting and the demon is after a lot more than just random destruction.

Charmed 3.10 'We All Scream For Ice Cream

Now THAT’S more like it. After his terrible introduction in the first season, Victor (now with the new name Bennett-we’ll just ignore that one) is brought back again. This episode felt a lot more natural, with much more understandable family drama.

Charmed 3.09 'Coyote Piper'

'Coyote Piper' features one of Charmed’s most memorable scenes. Piper’s bar dance. Yes, it was pretty great, but it’s not the reason why this episode is so amazing, that’s due to Piper herself not just her bar dancing skills.

Charmed 3.08 'Sleuthing With The Enemy'

This episode sees the culmination of the storyline that featured in the first 7 episodes of the series, and it’s given just the right amount of power that it should have been acting as a dramatic and decent ending to the first part of the season.

Charmed 3.07 'Power Outage'

'Power Outage' is one of those episodes that had to happen. The Charmed Ones bond is what keeps the power of three together, but what happens when that bond is broken? It’s a dramatic, but predictable, hour.

Charmed 3.06 'Primrose Empath'

‘Primrose Empath’ is so fantastic because of a number of things. Shannen’s mind-blowing performance, the little bit of fun it had, and the strong emotive side that it deals with.

Charmed 3.05 'Sight Unseen'

I think the reason this episode is so great is that it gives us our first fully human enemy under nobody’s influence but her own sanity.  It’s where season 3 really kicked off.

Charmed 3.04 'All Halliwell's Eve'

For this season’s time travelling experience, the girls are sent back to 1670, where they find out the true nature of Halloween. They also come meet their favourite ancestor for the second time. It’s not as mind blowing as our previous trips in time, but its close.

Charmed 3.03 'Once Upon A Time'

Episodes like this one are either a complete disaster or they’re completely fantastic. For me, it’s the latter. While some people call this episode a complete waste of time and space, I thought it was a great bit of fun in an otherwise dark season.
